This year I also visited Amsterdam and Keukenhof - the tulip garden. Keukenhof was very beautiful, however, full of people. If you can choose - go there during the week and avoid Easter holiday. We were there for one day, but I would say you would not be bored if you are there for days. Do go there early, as people tend to come around 9 - 10 am.

If you want to take pictures in the fields of tulips - you have to do it outside of Keukenhof Gardens. There are plenty of fields where you can do this close to the gardens.

And do get ready to get down :D I am always trying to get to the level of flower, or maybe lower if possible. For most of the pictures I used my macro lens, Tamron 90mm f/2.8.

In Amsterdam do take a stroll and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. Maybe borrow a bike and enjoy the city like a local. I used my wide angle lens (Nikkor 10 - 20mm f/4.5-5.6.) and my zoom lens (Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8) for the city. And do look up. Amsterdam has a really nice architecture.

There is plenty of museums you can visit. My favorites were Moco Museum, Rembrandt House and Rijksmuseum.

With this picture, I wanted to change the perspective a little bit, to make the picture look interesting.

If you want to take a funny picture for your Instagram, there is one Instagram spot in Amsterdam waiting for you. Just enter "Wake me up when I'm famous" in google maps and you will find it.
